Dual-Link DVI is an industry solution to a bandwidth dilemma: A single-link DVI connection supplies up to 3.7 Gbps and tops out at 1920 x 1200. By combining two links into one connector bandwidth doubles to 7.4 Gbps while still using one cable only. Consequently this dual-link switch can accomodate the latest ultra high resolution displays from Dell, Apple, Samsung, HP, Quinux, and others.
This solution is quite elegant from the users viewpoint too with one connector and cable per connected machine.
The 4x1 DVI DL DVI Switcher allows you to easily switch between four cross-platform dual link DVI computers using just one dual link DVI display, USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse. Dual link DVI uses all 24 pins of the DVI connector to achieve ultra high video resolutions up to 3840x2400. USB 2.0 is the next generation of USB, capable of sending data significantly quicker than before. Video and control signals are "switched" for each computer upon selection using Discrete IR Remote and either Discrete Contact Closure (RMT-4) or Serial RS-232, providing you with an easy and effective method of accessing four computers from one workstation without the hassle of networking.
How it works
You simply connect your dual link DVI display and USB 2.0 keyboard/mouse to the Switcher's outputs. Then you connect your computers' dual link DVI and USB ports to the Switcher's inputs using the supplied cables. From there, you select the computer you want using the front buttons Or you can use the IR remote that comes with the unit.or any RS-232 remote control. It allows you to switch seemlessly between Macintosh or PC keyboard/video/mouse combinations.

Puerto Rico is considered by the US Postal Service to belong to the United States from the shipping viewpoint. But PR is not listed as a US state, just put in another state and your ZIP. The Postal site will use the ZIP only to get the correct rate.
For Fedex and UPS Puerto Rico is a foreign country, you need to select Puerto Rico and your Postal Code, no state needed or available.

UPS ground is the most cost effective way for this - because of included cabling - somewhat heavy package. Insurance coverage is included.
Supplied rate is for lower continental US. Please inquire for shipping to other US locations and PO Boxes.
You will get a tracking # by Quantum View Notification or directly from us complete with invoice copy. A printed invoice is either included with the shipment or will be mailed later. Please refer to the invoice number if you have a question or run into a problem with the item.
